Walk By Faith Pathways is planning to expand its services in the future to support participants with complex psychosocial and mental health needs, including people who have experience with, or are at risk of interacting with, the justice system.
Our planned approach will focus on trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, person-centred and culturally responsive support.
Planned Areas of Support
- Justice-System Support: Where appropriate and within our scope of service, assisting participants to maintain routines and engage with relevant community and justice-related requirements.
- Transition and Reintegration: Supporting participants transitioning from custodial, secure or other intensive environments back into community living.
- Psychosocial Recovery Support: Helping participants build daily living skills, emotional regulation, social connections, community participation and greater independence.
- Community Reintegration: Supporting meaningful participation in housing, employment, education, recreation and community activities.
These services will be developed in accordance with relevant NDIS requirements, participant needs, clinical recommendations, safeguarding obligations and applicable legislation.
